Punk Inspired Skirt - GCSE

At GCSE last year we were given options on which era we wanted to focus are garment on and I chose 'Punk' because I was inspire by Vivienne Westwood and Malcome Maclarens Designs. I researched the punk history and found that a lot of lace and patches were commonly seen on their outfits. They also were very creative and decided to make clothes out of newspapers. I wanted to modernise that idea so i made a newsprint pattern on the computer and printed it on fabric, and sewed it on as a panel on the skirt
